1.       What makes them Filipino?

-          It makes them Filipino for their unique culture and behavior that other countries doesn’t possess

2.       Even though he is an American, why does he makes jokes about his Filipino-ness?

-          He makes some jokes about the Filipino-ness for they are very funny in their own way. The Filipino behavior was very unique to the extent that the other people was very amused.

3.       Do you think this is racism or appreciation?

-          We think it is not a racism instead, he is showing an appreciation how funny or crazy the Filipino writer. Just like the foreign blogger said “it is crazy in the Philippines.”

4.       How do you feel about his jokes? (individual)

-          Deca: it’s really funny, because the fact that he is expressing every Filipino expression relates us especially Filipino. Example of this is he imitates how Filipino moms reprimand us and how they use different expressions even how they talk, shouts, and even mad.

-          Jamalodin: the jokes of Mr. Rex Navarette makes me happy, and I laugh too. But deep inside. I feel the irritation, because he is an American man pero ginagasa niyang katatawanan ang mga pagkakamali ng mga Pilipino dahil sa ginagawa niya. Oo, maraming tumatawa pero para sa mga Pilipino naiinsulto sila, tulad ko. Marami mainterpret ng mga taga ibang bansa sakanyang mga jokes na kakaiba ang pag-uugali ng mga pinoy maaari rin sabihin nila na mga tanga ang mga Pilipino gaya ng sinabi niya tungkol kay Manny Pacquiao.

-          Batugan: his jokes were very realistic.

-          Bao: Napaparelate niya yung ugali ng mga Pilipino

-          Samporna: Magaling siya magpatawa.

5.       What is the importance of humor in Philippine society?

-          Humor was very important in the Philippines society for we are known as a happy person.
